I'm just glad to see some choice favourites mentioned. Sounds exciting. ________________________________ From: Scott Anthony To: w1ggy2 Cc: jewel@smoe.org Sent: Tuesday, 5 May, 2009 3:04:10 Subject: Re: [EDA] Article and interview CARNIVORE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! !!!!!!!!!! !!! - -- Scott Anthony Evans scott@scottanthony.org http://www.scottanthony.org On Mon, May 4, 2009 at 6:42 PM, w1ggy2 wrote: > Hi, I came across this article and thought you guys might be > interested in reading it. I was wondering if any EDAs were gonna try to go to this? I don't live so close to LA anymore and contemplating on whether or not it's worth it to go. I don't even know if I have to buy a CD beforehand in order to get a ticket to the signing. Anyone know? (I've called and they're gonna get back to me on how they're doing the signing) I know that at other signings, they usually have you buy a cd or book beforehand to get a wristband for the signing. But if that's the case, I'll have to make two trips to LA and that's just a big pain in the butt. LOL. But it IS Jewel!!! ;) - -Elizabeth ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 5 May 2009 18:13:31 -0400 From: "Dave McGovern" Subject: Re: [EDA] "The new phone book is here!!!" Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks like that. Sometimes I wonder... Here's the actual dialogue (thanks IMDB): Navin R. Johnson: The new phone book's here! The new phone book's here! Harry Hartounian: Boy, I wish I could get that excited about nothing. Navin R. Johnson: Nothing? Are you kidding? Page 73 - Johnson, Navin R.! I'm somebody now! Millions of people look at this book everyday! This is the kind of spontaneous publicity - your name in print - that makes people. I'm in print! Things are going to start happening to me now. And later, with his biker girlfriend talking about her new tattoo: Navin R. Johnson: First I get my name in the phone book and now I'm on your ass. You know, I'll bet more people see that than the phone book LOL One of these days I'll have to actually name a dog...uh...the same name as the dog in the movie. ;-) BTW, it isn't "Stupid." That was the edited for TV name. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pupecki, Stacy" To: "Dave McGovern" Sent: Tuesday, May 05, 2009 4:14 PM Subject: RE: [EDA] "The new phone book is here!!!"
