I forget when. The funny thing you don't see in the recording is the fact it took her 4 or 5 trys to get the guitar intro part right. It was pretty funny. - -----Original Message----- From: Jason Quattrini To: jewel@smoe.org Sent: Mon, 9 Feb 2009 9:28 am Subject: Re: [EDA] Foxwoods show > Wow, she did Needle & The Damage Done? Thats a great > piece from my favorite Neil Young > album, Harvest. Funny, aside from me being at that show, which was completely awesome, I heard "Needle and the damage done" maybe two days prior in the Nissan Live Sets on Yahoo music, which was recorded sometime over the summer. Poke around on there and you should be able to find it. ]:o_ I don't collect cows. They just have a _o:[ |O = habit of accumulating when I'm around. = O| |_o= :P Jason. I guess she's come along ways since then. Good Luck Jewel........ **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps! No, I don't think most of the audience realized it was her. But then, the ones in the back half of the amphitheater were probably too busy thinking "son of a bitch, I'm getting soaked! For this I paid $45?!" (Or however much the tix were). That's what Dennis and I would have been thinking if it weren't for the fact that our tickets had us directly behind the sound booth over which they had erected a tent in case of rain which completely blocked our view so we complained until they moved us - to the fifth row! People were taking flash photos during the show I was at, despite a big warning on the video screen not to. With proper shutter speed and a still camera, it's very possible to take fantastic photos without using a flash and avoid disrupting the performer. In fact, flash can make it worse if you're really far away. I'm not photo-pro, but yet I wonder why people still do it? Seems disrespectful to me. But I do love it when people haven't turned off the SOUND on their cameras, so everyone can hear the little jingle/song each time they power it on. I guess the group of Teen Paparazzi who sat behind me at the last show soured my mood. :) " i had second row. i got 2 warnings from the security guard for taking flash pictures." ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 09 Feb 2009 19:57:35 -0500 From: Mike Connell Subject: NJC: Speaking of Harris Re: [EDA] Jewel to be on Dancing With The Stars At 02:27 PM 2/9/2009, W1GGY2@aol.com wrote: > That's what Dennis and I would have been >thinking if it weren't for the fact that our tickets had us directly behind >the sound booth over which they had erected a tent in case of rain which >completely blocked our view so we complained until they moved us - >to the fifth row!
