Dennis Harris, EDAF cowboy, and much more, made the scene. Allison Crowe is now rolling into Connecticut into the corral of Mr BB - where the Hartford Advocate has made her concert "Pick of the Week". From the Cambridge performance last night, there's a couple of online comments posted. Here's a quote excerpted from a blog of active Boston podcaster C.C. Chapman: "Last night I got to see one of my all time favorite musical artists perform in a small and intimate concert. That artist is Allison Crowe. I don't remember how I first discovered Allison, but I've been playing her on Accident Hash ever since. Her voice is pure passion and oh so amazing live. I tell anyone who asks to buy her Live at Wood Hall double CD set because while she is amazing in a studio, live she is beyond words." And, Randy Winchester of Arts Somerville wrote: "I have three of Allison's CDs, and I love them, but you just have to be there live to get the full head spinning, spine tingling effect!" The show Saturday night (July 12) in New Britain, CT is a benefit for Trinity-on-Main Arts and Education Centre. Then, it's a fun show at T.O.C. in Philly (July 16) and another benefit for the EveryDay Angels Foundation in NYC (July 19). Calling all EDA kookybakas. Radical anti-cynicism lives! cheers, Ad ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V12 #378 ****************************
