They ship CD's almost everywhere so you could get it there. Think it's $9.99 which in Euro makes it very cheap but with shipping, it brings it back up again so bare that in mind. You can also get it through JewelJK.com but that's a little more, even with shipping added. And also Barnes and Noble but I've never bought from them so not sure if they ship internationally but I assume they do. You could ask one of the lovely EDA's here to get a copy for you at Bestbuy in the US when it comes out and send it to you afterwards if you're willing to wait a little longer. I believe they always have cheap introduction prices. I'm hoping Target or similar do a special promotional release. There's a very kind EDA poised to buy it on my behalf if there is one. - ----- Original Message ---- From: "mikasteve@mac.com" To: jewel@smoe.org Sent: Tuesday, 27 May, 2008 3:37:09 AM Subject: Re: [EDA] International fans Are there any digital online stores where you live where you could buyB digital files same day? What does NTSC and PAL have to do with audio CDs? I thought it was a video-only thing? (After all, in NTSC..the T stands for television) Anyway, I've sent dozens of Patty Griffin and Jewel CDs to EDA in Ireland, Israel, England, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Italy (and more I think) and not once did anyone say they would not play. This is probably my favorite Jewel CD since This Way, which is my favorite Jewel CD. After some more listens, it might snag number 1. Really. It's really, really consistent and solid. I mean, if you're a TOTAL country-phobe, you might not like it. But I'd say it sounds no more country than the This Way CD. - -- Scott Anthony Evans scott@scottanthony.org http://www.scottanthony.org ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 May 2008 16:27:37 -0700 From: mikasteve@mac.com Subject: Re: [EDA] Perfectly Clear review Wow. Sounds great. This Way might be my favorite too, plus if Perfectly Clear (song) is any indication, this is really going to be a treat for me, but I'm trying to keep expectations low. How did you get the CD so early? Enjoy it!
