Subject: Re: [EDA] New Album Cover and Tracklist!!! Yes, that is the whole point I'm well aware of this. She has 2 Become 1 on an Atlantic record, so they have some rights to that song. It's surprising the song was able to show up on a Valory Music Co. album. Interesting nevertheless, and I can't wait for the album! I think it will be great! How are you all doing?! Does anyone play Jewel cover songs on guitar cough*Gerrit*cough. :) I was wondering if anyone could describe her picking technique; how she hammers the E and A strings so well and then kind of strums (or picks?) the bottom strings. She does this so often and I want to learn to get it right. I am not sure that my thumb hits the strings fast enough though? Just how she makes picking sound like strumming is so neat to me! Also, I know she changed the lyrics from the album version and the live versions of Angel Standing By. I used to be obsessed with hearing the differences in the version but now I can't remember what they were lol. It's bugging me, but I am at work. Thanks guys! Much love! ~*~*~ The Faithful Angel ~*~*~ - --------------------------------- You rock. Atlantic only owns that particular recording of the song. She can rerecord any of the songs that she wants :) - -Elizabeth On Thu, Apr 3, 2008 at 7:07 AM, S.H. wrote: > Yes, that is the whole point I'm well aware of this. > > She has 2 Become 1 on an Atlantic record, so they have some rights to that > song.
