I live in an area where it's men like Brad and Tim and Johnny and Glen and Toby and Hank and Gary rule the land....so, how much Brad do you know before you discredit his name?....I rest my case. I'm not trying to be rude, only returning the favour. And yes, Mrs. O'Toole is quite right and I concur, I fully believe Jewel is, in a way, neglecting her popularity in a closely huddled continent....it's not hard to get a train ticket from Berlin on the banhoff to Paris, or the international rails.....that's why I love Europe, it's so closely huddled, you can be anywhere by the end of the day! Jewel should set up some prime locations in Europe and take another world tour. And I have heartfelt sadness for Brits and other Europeans, because they don't know the truth about American grassroots and country music like someone such as myself would, growing up around it, owning tons of LP's from the era of classic country, as well as many CD's of modern country....the Europeans don't have the 'foundational' or 'core' value in country....and she is expecting them to just 'go with it'....I think she needs to tour Europe to keep her long lasting (Spirit era) fanbase still happy and she definitely could use some newer listeners, as well, because American Country is the oldest type of American music, and it SERIOUSLY takes some getting used to. I've found most Europeans find the jawharp or fiddle to be annoying, which are integral parts of the country music sound. Just fishin' in the dark, son....
