I believe that is what the website said, although you'd have to archive it becuase I don't have the website anymore. Or would it not be uploadable because some of the songs are from albums? There are some artists who have tons of archived shows there, and I think if it's allowable for Jewel shows it would be fantastic. Yes, James, your message ended up in my Spam folder. Somethings: 1) Jewel said in a recent concert that the new album will probably come out in June and the single in March. That would probably coincide with the end of her Nashville Star hosting job, that is if she does it again (see below). 2) Her duet with Toby Keith in his Christmas special can be seen on the CMT website. 3) check the article below! http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071113/COLUMNIST0501/711130376 Tuesday, 11/13/07 Jewel finally fulfills dream of making country album By BEVERLY KEEL Jewel, who's had a huge pop career, has always wanted to release country songs, but her record label wouldn't let her. "I've been trying to do it my whole career and the label just wouldn't work anything country," says Jewel, who has performed country songs live for a decade, has made five albums here and has written with numerous Nashville songwriters. So she made a country album on her own. "I just didn't know if I would go independent and go direct to Wal-Mart or find a label and work radio." She found a home with Scott Borchetta's The Valory Music Co., which is releasing her album in June. Jewel says she has the option to host Nashville Star again this season. "The reason I did that show is because I believe in country music. I believe in the nobility of that tradition." "There's talk about it going to network television," she said of the USA Network show's move to NBC. "It can get really cheesy once it gets to network. "There was a strong focus on being songwriters, singers and musicians; they weren't just pop artists. If they have that same focus and they are very serious about it being a show with integrity, I am definitely interested. If they want to silly it up, I'm not interested in doing it." ________________________________________________ Wireless Internet Ltda -- www.wnetrj.com.br ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V12 #212 ****************************
