Maybe we'll start to get some reviews Tuesday night after the Albuquerque show. It was Nov '95 for me - the week of the Duets show. Mike probably has us all beat ... I am not sure if Dan Stark is still on the list, but to me he would have to be one of the oldest that would likely still be around and provider gratis of my first show tapes, including?the innerchange. ????????????????????? == Rob == - -----Original Message----- From: Larry Greenfield To: caseyjonescs@aol.com ; jewel@smoe.org Sent: Mon, 12 Nov 2007 7:45 pm Subject: Re: [EDA] NJC the first persons *I joined in May or June of 1996, using a different email address (** graywolfwla@earthlink.net* *) which is now defunct. Hmm, I dug through my old stuff. I joined June 19, 1999, so I guess there were at least a *few* people here before me ;) ]:o_ I don't collect cows. I don't think Mike pre-dates the digest, but I could be wrong.I joined mid-95 sometime from a now defunct email address (tproven@pls.lib.ca.us - - using pine to read my e-mail). I felt like a late-comer at the time. And the first Jewel song I heard was My Own Private God's Gift to Women at around 2am on KZSU out of Stanford University. They added the album in February 95, so it was likely around that time. The only album I could find was Pieces of You (which I bought), but I really wanted Save the Linoleum. All the record store owners looked at me like I was crazy. I did get one several years later.
