Every group has their observances, whether it be Passover, or Ramadan, Hanukkah or any other. EDAs, periodically, go through a silent period sometimes referred to as Kookybaka. (Not to confused with the usage of the latter term as a pronoun - though, there is, naturally, a relationship between.) Kookybaka was, originally, a time reserved exclusively for the study of yodelling. (Though some mistook this for rapping.) It has, of course, evolved to include other practices - such as washing one's hair in public sinks, cursing cappucino-making-machines, and blurring the line between cigarettes and lollipop sticks. During Kookybaka, some of us while away the hours playing foolish games. Some, risking ex-communication, engage in activities that involve the roping of wooden farm animals. I'm sensitive. I don't. Really, who will save your soul if pieces of you get into that sort of thing? You'd better have an angel standing by if you want 'Woody' near you always. (Not to be confused with the sort of woody that's referred to in the morning song of one buttered-up-bun-hot-dogging-ex-Haligonian who shall remain nameless, and, in a certain video, shirtless.) No, I'd rather visit my little sister, or my Daddy at this special time. Even lend a hand to some local painters. Be part of your community. And remember what the Swiss Miss said. No, not feed your head. You were meant for me. We are all tiny lights for each other ( : Amen! I feel like a real "modern day troubadour" for knowing all those "tiny love spaces" you spoke of, somewhat in a "circle song" way.
