However if you insist I recommend carrying anywhere between $500 to a grand with you. ? I recommend tipping the doorman and the barman, first. Tip about $20 each and ask the doorman to show your way to the main functionary or the directeur and any other bigwigs, maitre d'hotel, et cetera. That way you can inconspicuously tell what kind of person they are, how they carry themselves and how they work, beady eyed, by the book, et cetera. ? Without any casino experience as I'm assuming here, I would definitely tip the barman and oftentimes too much with the effect in that he will water down your drinks. You'll thank me later, no one likes a drunk player in a casino and they always seem to lose their money quicker and cause a scene. Aged whiskies like Scotch or a Jamesons will work if you order them on the rocks, however Baileys and any vodka should do the trick to steady the flow of adrenaline in your body. I'd stay away from anything too strong, like i mentioned before. And I once heard of ordering clear alcohol, like vodka or gin so you can covertly dump your drinks. The stain won't set in then you can have no problems and this way you can masquerade yourself from actually being intoxicated, or at least slow it down. I recommend a mixed drink if nothing else, because a Bacardi Mojito will not hit you quickly and a rum punch will take a week io hit you, although I highly recommend staying far away from rums!? I could tell you stories about my bad nights wit rum, which is probably why I'm having issues now. Also, order new rounds of fresh drinks at your halfway point down the drink so that way you'll be drinking the mixture of the beverage and not the hard alcohol at the bottom which usually settled down there. Most bartenders are semi skilled labour employees and will just pour the shot of alcohol first then the mixer and stir them together, hey....they've got two hundred drink orders to do, they could really care about yours! ? With this method, I'd wander off and try any form of negative or positive progression on the roulette tables, blackjack if you know your way around in the casinos. I stick with Roulette, and bacarrat mostly, although I've been spotted at a craps table once. ? Chances are your adrenaline will be up from seeing the lovely Jewel perform so you'll need to have that edge but keep yourself in check, no bold decisions like $800 bets. If you can, try to breath calmly as your body will slowly output and control the amount of adrenaline and epinephrine and ephedrine through your adrenal glands in your blood which will give you a feel of arousal and of consummate yet unsubstantiated skill. nevertheless, just remain calm and keep your bets centered around a good fractional proportion of your grand total. ? I recommend unless you've hit some lucky streak that you spend no more than fifty minutes in a casino, because you will become too accustomed to the smoke and the stench of the sweat and the feel and the dry riff of the cards to the point that you will let yourself get shabby and careless. THis is when someone could easily rob you, assault you, or you could just lose all your cash because you yourself are tired. I avoid being tired or careless in a casino as this will only cause mistakes which could and oftentimes do hurt your wallet. ? With this knowledge behind you and under your belt, don't forget to view every player whom you are with at the tables (I usually tip enough to the functionary to get a private table, as this steadies my nerves and will make it easier to play and easier to win in roulette, but with Texas Hold'em and Bacarrat or chemin de fer, you need at least three decent players there, with some cronies about throwing in cash to lose it all). I don't recommend chemin de fer unless you know some French, at least the 'suivi' and 'banco' minimum or you'll be oblivious to anything going on. I do not recommend Texas Hold'em unless you can quote out the roster of hands in either ascending or descending order and the probabilities of getting those hands under each layer, the flop, the turn or the river under any randomized example. So I'd stray from those tables. Blackjack is a firm bet because although the tables have the advantage in blackjack, they have the advantage in EVERY table or game, THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED A CASINO! With Blackjack and a ten minute study over any guide, you can play decently and if not break the house, you can walk away having had a decent time and know some about he game although you may have lost some cash to it. ? Be wary of anyone with a camera as most casinos will not allow them and they could be trying to snap a shot of you so they can rush it to a darkroom and then develop it, find you and track you to where you leave ad retire for the evening, so just mind anyone with a camera and they will try to pose as either staff, or tourists or completely inconspicuous. Of those, its the inconspicuous ones you must worry about. Sometimes you just have to trust me on this one, they could be casino staff or any number of real people. ? You should do just fine, but if you lose more than one fifth of what you've brought in (keep EXACT count of your funds!), leave the casino and come back after an hour and perhaps a nap, a massage and a few beverages later to calm your nerves. If you find yourself striving to 'make up' what you've lost, GET OUT! I cannot emphasize that enough, come back later. Most casinos stay open till 2 or 3 or even 4 in the morning, so you shouldn't have a problem with the punctuality of the hours of the casino. Just keep yourself on extremely high alert and you should be fine. ? I recommend taking yourself and your winnings straght to the hotel of your stay immediately, don't stop to eat and do not stop to go to the bathroom, they have restroom facilities in your hotel. Don't take the lift, as they can oftentimes be traps. Take the stairs and go straight into your room and deposit your winnings into the room's safe. I trust you will have changed the combination of the safe by now from its house code. ? By now it should be late at night, or at least dark outside. Like in a casual manner, if you do insist on eating, i recommend finding a very close by restaurant (preferably in your hotel) and finding a quiet area to eat where you can simply watch for any activity. Any person who just walked away winning from? the casino will be one of suspicion because they are expected to still have the money on them! ? With this knowledge and after your meal, you should be fine to go back to your hotel without delay or issues otherwise. ??? Don't forget to have a good time, but remember the rules i have set out for you and walk quietly. Don't make any attention draw to you or divert to you in the casino, trust me on this one. Those crazy people who scream out "YEAH BABY GIVE IT TO ME DADDY!' are the ones who are watched by the thugs inside the casino and they are the ones who get robbed at the end of the night! And there are people who sit around in casinos and watch for this. ? Furthermore, if you have a hard time winning with a dealer, swap to a new table or ask for a different dealer. if they will not swap dealers, go to a different table. Coolers to exist! ??? Okay, you're fine now, have fun and bring home some money! Be safe out there, always have an escape route, at least two. You'll thank me later. I can't tell you how many times I've been confronted in casinos by three guys who wanted to rob me, but they aren't around to talk about it. A good blade chop to the throat will knock anyone down. Just avoid altercations in the casino, take it somewhere outside or in private. ??? This is the end of the lecture. I want to make certain anyone goes to a casino with the armed knowledge that they need to survive, they ca be bank breakers and dangerous places so I felt it necessary to tell you this. I could not sleep tonight without letting you know this information, so read it, hold it, love it and follow it. ? ? ? ?
