I think I am the "other Mike" or maybe I'm an other other Mike ;). I enjoyed the show a lot, but I had driven down from Las Vegas at 3:30am and drove home after the show. It was a long day, but it was worth it. :) It was interesting seeing Jewel with 4 other artists. One funny thing I remember was Jewel calling up her keyboardist "Turtle" up to the stage who was getting drinks over by the bar. As he walked past me he was saying something like "I have been consuming alcoholic beverages this evening." He gets up to the stage and sits at the keyboard and whispers something to Jewel then leaves. She said she was disappointed in him and that he had just informed her that he is too intoxicated this evening to play the keyboards. Then she goes into a story that involved drinking, Turtle, and something about redecorating a hotel room. I'm not going to recount the details however. Needless to say it was a colorful story and he seemed to be having a fun time. Thanks for the photos. There are a few more that my friend JayJ posted here in The World Jewel Forum: http://s2.excoboard.com/exco/thread.php?forumid=117030&threadid=1601543 I will soon be posting my terribly bad photos there too. I left the flash off so mine came out very dark. Mike AKA MrCC The World Jewel Forum On 4/22/07, E N wrote: > man oh man ... I'm a Jewel high. *sigh* > > The show at Spaceland was > fantastic.
