"Her lyrics are unbelievably brilliant," John tells The Tennessean. "She is more of a country singer than she is a pop singer. She has all the breaks in her voice like Tammy Wynette; she has the emotion of Patsy Cline. I didn't even realize how great she was until we got in there." John also co-produced Cowboy Troy's Black in the Saddle, which will be released in June. John sings on the project, along with "Nashville Star" winner Angela Hacker and rock group Avenged Sevenfold. "It grabs you by the throat and does not let you go," John says. "It's another gear of Cowboy Troy." Big & Rich are currently enjoying the fastest-rising single of their career with "Lost in This Moment," which is on pace to be the act's first Top 10 hit. Although the duo have experienced multi-platinum sales, they haven't had a big hit single. "We've never seen what could happen with our career if we could land the heavy radio airplay," John says. ________________________________________________ Wireless Internet Ltda -- www.wnetrj.com.br ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V12 #74 ***************************
