(trying to connect the dots here...) Errr... silly question probably, but what would the purpose of an official EDA ribbon be? Usually a colored ribbon signifies support for a particular cause or effort (breast cancer awareness, bring the troops home, etc.). I guess we could show our support and awareness of Jewel's breasts (c'mon, you know that's always been a big draw throughout her career) or try to bring Jewel home to play for us -- or did folks have a more alturistic and less Jewel fanboy purpose in mind? Whatever the color, I think we should add polka dots as that always adds a touch of legitimacy and class to any design. A nice (fake) animal print might work as well... ;-) - -- Trust me. People used to put blue bows or ribbons on the antennas or wherever so we could spot each other easily. We don't use them anymore because we never have gatherings anymore!!! (Hopefully that will change soon with the EDAF's 10 year anniversary coming up this fall). There was no official shade of blue but most people used a bright royal blue. On the subject of gatherings, my Living Room Concert with Randi Driscoll was just wonderful this past weekend. There were a few EDA's present and they had a great time I believe. Randi is such a joy to be around...her shows are always a ton of fun. :-) Amy N.
