I have it Sky+'ed to record to night. She'll be in the 8:30 to 10:30pm episode. The one after that is in Seattle. I'm looking forward to it. Though I don't know how to get it from my Sky box to my computer. Any suggestions anyone? - ------------------------ Want to know more Jewel? Hi All, I just opened my 'Sun' newspaper here in the UK, and found a photo in there of Simon Cowell giving Jewel a hug and a kiss!! The article said - 'Smoothie Simon Cowell looks like he is auditioning for XXX-Factor as he smoochies on American Idol. Simon, 47, gives a guest judge, singer Jewel 32, a kiss during filming of the show in Minneapolis' There is 4 hours of the show on ITV2 tonight, so am hoping to see Jewel on there at some point ! Being a fan of Jewel here in the UK, i was wondering whether anyone had a bootleg cd of any recent concerts that they can send to me ?? I am not sure when Jewel will tour here again and i kinda feel that alot of her newer songs are passing me by. Obviously i'd pay for any costs/expenses involved ! Alternatively, are there any websites where bootleg songs can be downloaded from ??? Many thanks Glen nr Southampton England UK ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jan 2007 10:33:58 -0800 (PST) From: Chrissy Slavinsky Subject: [EDA] nashville star blog Jewel's nashville star blog: JANUARY 11, 2007 WHAT'S YOUR OUTLOOK FOR THE NEW SEASON? I think this is the best talent of any season Nashville Star has had. Maybe that's because this is my first year actually on set and in person, but I think this year's contestants are all deserving of a win, and it will come down to who can grow the most and make you at home feel them. I have been following this show for years now, and I am so excited to host it because I am a fan of the show and country music. I am so proud that this year every contestant is not only a top-notch singer, but also plays at least one instrument (several play three!) AND write original material! That's so hard to do, and so rare to find. I'm glad Nashville Star is encouraging real, authentic artists and giving them a chance to make a living doing what we love. I just wanted to tell everyone that my husband and I have a beautiful new son! (the first boy in 4 generations on my side and my first baby!) He was born this past Wed 1/17 at 2:40pm at SW Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. He was over 41 weeks and had to be induced (he got too comfortable) due to low amniotic fluid. I had to go to the hospital from my Dr. apointment which was very unexpected. He had a marconium stool in the womb which concerned the Dr. and the cord ended up wrapped around his neck twice, but I was able to give birth to him naturally. We surprised the doctors and the neonatal team on standby by birthing a very healthy 6lb 15oz baby boy despite his "drama." He was 19.5 inches long :). Sorry for the long email not related to Jewel, but he is my first so I'm sure all of you parents can relate. I'm so proud of my little man! Here's pictures, although they are fuzzy and don't give him any justice. He looks just like his daddy! http://www.growingfamily.com/webnursery/babypage_view.asp?URLID=8X3H0U9V8L Smiles and blessings, Melissa ~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~ http://www.everythingbreaks.com/ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jan 2007 20:08:08 -0500 From: mac14460@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] NJC: I just had a baby! His name is Logan Jaymes Henning. LOL you guys are so funny w/ the name suggestions. The first thing my husband said before we knew we were having a boy was, "we are not naming this kid Jewel or anything related to Jewel" LMAO ~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~-~~ http://www.everythingbreaks.com/ ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V12 #11 ***************************
