Well, after several years absence, I finally broke down and bought tickets to see Jewel again (my last show attended was the Nashville taping and EDA gathering)! So, I'll be at Foxwoods Casino Saturday night, wandering between craps tables, eating an overpriced casino dinner and on the lookout for EDAs at the show. As per previous legal agreements, y'all have been adequately warned! - -- Trust me. I have seen Jewel five (maybe six?) times, and this was possibly the best yet. The show was absolutely fantatsic, with the first hour being almost all requests, and all really fantastic songs. The audience was small, and she seems to be more comfortable with a smaller audience. It was, as I imagine the rest of the tour is, solo acoustic. If you were there, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did :) Hopefully someone can gather all of the misc. info, like track listing and such before too long. Fantastic :) ]:o_ I don't collect cows. I was a bit shocked by the angle they used for her coversation with "wendy" - it made it look like they put black makeup on her tooth to exaggerate it... It was nice that since the show was based in Alaska that she just sang with her guitar and the other girl... but it was sooo much shorter than the appearance on Las Vegas James Re: [EDA] Jewel on Men In Trees ["E N" ] - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri, 10 Nov 2006 21:21:16 -0800 From: "E N" Subject: Re: [EDA] Jewel on Men In Trees Did anyone watch this? I'm watching now and Jewel came in 20 min into the show! I was very surprised ... I thought she'd show up at the end and sing her song like on 7th Heaven. So yeah! I guess it's because the show is based in Alaska ... - - -Elizabeth ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #273 ****************************
