Hope you get what you're looking for and get to go and enjoy the concert! Maybe you should contact the venue about the seating arrangments to see what options would be best. - ------------------------ Want to know more Jewel? Help, please! Hey all! So me and a friend are thinking of going to a Jewel concert on this tour. I am from North Dakota and she is from western Minnesota. The closest place Jewel seems to be coming this tour is Milwaukee on the 26th of November. The only tickets available are balcony or left stage. I don't know which would be better... anyways, what I want help with... Is steve going to be performing at this concert with her!? Also, does anyone out there have some better tickets they would be willing to sell us? We are travelling a long way, and it would be more worth it if we had some good seats, ya know? Anyone out there buy tickets and can't go anymore? Anyone buy some extras? Please let me know any information that you might have on any of these questions... we'd GREATLY appreciate it! Thank you so much in advance, Charlie czidon@hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Nov 2006 08:16:54 +0000 (GMT) From: "Kiera @ JKF" Subject: Re: [EDA] (Me) Complaining about Unedited.. To be fair, they did have it up on the Unedited News Page before the pre-sale and I advertised it both on the Unedited forum and my own forum before the pre-sale. It's no harm checking in on Unedited every day or 2 around the time of pre-sale announcements, just to in case you miss something. They are getting a lot better at getting news and info out before other sites and that's saying something. It used to be Unedited would post any jewel news last to all the active fansites! I do agree that an email notification is a logical step. I'll suggest it to the Fanclub manager and Jewel's Management. I know it is easily done so there should be no reason for this not to happen. Re: [EDA] milwaukee concert 11/26. I've been mostly silent about how unimpressive Jewel: Unedited is... and honestly my $30 a year (or however much it is) is for tickets.. just for tickets. When Unedited first came out I used to get GREAT seats for shows in my area (typically the greater chicago area and indy). Last time around I got slightly more mediocre seats.. but still much better than you could hope for from ticketmaster, and without paying markup to buy them on eBay (and risking not getting seats). My point is that as an insurance policy that I would have access to good seats at a fair price, Unedited couldn't be beat. Until now. I was REALLY excited to read the press release that was recently posted to this list and read about the upcoming Joliet show that will feature the Chicago Pops Orchestra... I was fortunate enough to go to (and record) the Cleveland show (was that in '05?...yikes).. and now we're going to get another special little treat here in the midwest (serves all you coast-ers right :)). Anyway my bitch is that yet again the lack of communication coming from yet another management team resulted in the Joliet pre-sale going by without any of the typical day-before-the-presale-email notification... so now I'm in the same boat asking.. WTF do I pay an access fee for if they can't send me an email.............. I was online at work the morning tickets went on sale public on ticketmaster.. the best seats we got between the two of us were H and K on the main floor.. maybe that's fine but my tix would have been better from Unedited.. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Nov 2006 18:13:16 -0800 (PST) From: James Brogdon Subject: [EDA] Jewel Ticket Stubs... still available So far I've had three or four responses so if you're wondering, you can still get in on this... I guess I wasn't exceptionally clear the first time.. the ticket stub is used, and free. I have already sent the envelope with ALL of the ticket stubs out.. once Philip receives it, he will take one out and then mail it on to the next person... kind of like a modified "tree" for angelfood... just a different type of food :) So anyway.. just send me an email if you'd like me to add you to the list.. it's already started ;) James ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #267 ****************************
