Today's Subjects: ----------------- [EDA] Arrowhead Pond Set List of Jewel's set on Sunday, July 1st, 2006 [a] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat, 01 Jul 2006 23:44:16 -0700 From: amethyst@endor.org Subject: [EDA] Arrowhead Pond Set List of Jewel's set on Sunday, July 1st, 2006 I'm not much for reviews, but I did keep a set list: 1. Sattelite 2. Hands 3. Again and Again 4. Good Day 5. Love Me Just Leave Me Alone 6. Break Me 7. Foolish Games 8. You Were Meant For Me 9. Standing Still 10. Intuition 11. Who Will Save Your Soul She basically rocked the place, as to be expected, especially on Love Me Just Leave Me Alone and Who Will Save Your Soul including doing the whole scat/meow thing). She told a few stores and entertained the crowd as usual as well. It was good times all around. I always love Jewel's performances at her shows, even when she changes her mind mid-song like she did with Foolish Games (before Break Me.. then did a full version afterwards), as she is always entertaining in the process: 'I quit my office job years ago'. Rob Thomas was spectacular and tore the roof off, and he also 'professed his undying love for Jewel because she is a bad ass' and she came out to play a Tom Petty song with him towards the end of the set. I will have pictures on http://gallery.endor.org in a few days (Most likely by the 4th or 5th of July) under Events I will have Arrowhead Pond with a section for Jewel as well as Rob Thomas. I brought my Canon SD200, but with only 3x optical zoom, a lot of the 1500 pics I took are blury, but I still expect to have a couple hundred of each at least after I weed them out. (I actually took more but deleted a lot during songs as well) It was cool meeting a few EDAs (Elizabeth & Julie-the-non-Jewel-fan-friend-who-has-seen-Jewel-3-times, Nathan, Marissa, Michelle), and it was odd running into several friends of mine at the show of whom I had no idea were going but definitely heard my rave reviews about Jewel years ago. :) Either way, all in all it was a great night and an enjoyable way to spend my birthday evening. :) Gerrit ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #174 ****************************
