As Amy mentioned, Tammy and I were there ... but were always there.  I  don't 
think my show count has gotten up to Amy's level, but we have seen every  
Jewel show/appearance at the PNC since it is ten minutes from our place.   We 
were in the eighth row, which is was about as close as I've ever been in a  
public show to her, so it was nice to see her up close again. 
 
The show was fine - way too short - but fine.  Besides the "hey Jewel"  song, 
she also stopped for a birthday cake for her drummer which was nice.   The 
Rob Thomas had a good set so it made up for it - his cover of "Let's Dance"  is 
just a lot of fun.
 
It was also nice that even though 90% of the crowd was there for Rob, they  
were respectful of Jewel - no cries to adoration or to get the hell off the  
stage, which was nice.  His stage lighting is funky and cool.  It's  been a long 
time since I've been to show of this size that wasn't Jewel, Tori or  some 
other female act, so it was enjoyable to see ... well I guess you'd call it  
rock ... a show different from the normal laid back stuff.
 
I find it somewhat strange that she doesn't sing "Again" given  that people 
were yelling for it, it seems like a strange way to  promote a single.  I also 
was hoping with 1,000 miles on the CD, she'd play  that since I haven't heard 
it live in a while.
 
Well those are my thoughts - a nice night out.  Nothing too special,  but 
then again there's absolutely nothing wrong with just seeing an enjoyable  show 
from an artist that you love.

I just bought a tape recorder today so i could listen to some old
angelfood...I haven't owned one in years.
This was the first tape I saw, so I grabbed it.  It's amazing...I don't want
to skip one song.
THIS is why so many fans are disillusioned.  She peaked at age 20. =(

we are from Pa and it was our 1st time at the PNC center.  does she frequent 
the PNC center.  we found out it was a 2hr drive for us.   impressed by the 
easy access compared to so many other locations we've been to.  typically we 
were driving all the way to ohio approx 8+hrs to get in on a show.  

This is only my 4th  time seeing Jewel.  Once at the 1st year  Lilith Fair in 
Scranton Pa--what a nightmare that was due to rain/lots of people, once in 
hartford ct, once in ohio--should have been 2x but someone had to watch the kids 
(ie ME) so he went alone to that one.   

I have to agree with the "hey jewel" "Hey Jude" statement.  i thought it was 
a nice touch.  i also loved hearing the dulcimer live.  i got a really big 
kick out of "i want to hear number 12 on ur new cd!!"   

We were just curious if  we were the only ones out there..but now i know 
there were others of you out there!
