I actually wanted to yell at her im far from butch girl lol. Anyway that's my claim to fame i guess lol Cornered Weasel wrote: It was a rainy night at the Toyota Pavilion, but Jewel was in good form last night. A few random comments about the show: - - if there was any doubt about who was headlining, it was clearly Rob Thomas last night. The crowd was packed with screaming girls for Rob. Sad that an artist like Jewel with a huge catalog like hers opens for Rob, but that's music today. - - Jewel asked if there were any songs we wanted to hear. One guy who was two rows in front of us was flailing his arms around and she saw him, saying "how about you - you're looking mighty butch tonight" (to be PC, I will only say he looked a bit 'alternative'). He shouted out a few songs, which she claimed to not know how to play and said they weren't very good anyway, then moved on to someone else. - - the duet with Rob Thomas was great. He said he loved Jewel, and said: "She's what the indians call 'de shit' " Rob is clearly a fan. We left after the duet. For those of you planning to take photos at future shows - it was clearly not a problem, with blatant photography by the fans. Tired of spam? Yahoo! See Harris' bicentenial yearbook mugshot (suitable for dartboards!) on page 8 of this pdf: http://www.theartof.com/dvredwing/76_senior_photos.pdf Same hairdo too! Now, is he one of the dweebs in the class photo here? http://www.theartof.com/dvredwing/fun.htm I'm thinking he's in the front row, third from the right in the cute blue and yellow outfit (this being before the sex-change operation of course) Mike ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 08 Jun 2006 20:22:27 -0400 From: mac14460@aol.com Subject: [EDA] NJC: Dennis Harris's high school senior photo! Note to self: Never piss Mike off. He might go looking online for my yearbook pictures too. Now that's a scary thought. Same vintage as Dennis = same hair. My hair covered my ears too, but unfortunately puffed out making me look like I had "wings." That was quite a while ago. Actually, Dennis seems to one of the few in his class who's sporting a real smile. Not so bad. MAC ________________________________________________________________________ Check out AOL.com today. Well, since Dennis is in Texas at his 30th high school reunion right about now, its safe to make fun of him. So, Dennis, did you ever actually WASH your hair back then?? :-P~~~ Amy In a message dated 6/8/06 7:37:48 PM, ducksoup@quackquack.net writes: > See Harris' bicentenial yearbook mugshot (suitable for dartboards!) on page > 8 of this pdf: > http://www.theartof.com/dvredwing/76_senior_photos.pdf > Same hairdo too! > www.edaf.org ********************************************* "All my life I wanted to be someone; I guess I should have been more specific." ~ Jane Wagner ~ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 08 Jun 2006 21:51:39 -0400 From: Mike Connell Subject: Re: [EDA] set list At 09:18 PM 6/8/2006, you wrote: >I'll be seeing jewel in cleveland on wed. and i hope i here 1,000 miles. >it's my favorite and the setlists posted make me sad. Well, she opened at least two shows this tour with it, so there's a chance. It's obviously in the mix. Mike ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #150 ****************************
