Per Jewel's myspace bulletin... "Be sure to watch Late Night with Conan O'Brien on NBC tonight! Jewel is the featured musical guest and will be performing a song from her new album GOODBYE ALICE IN WONDERLAND, which is in stores now!" Just in case it hadn't been mentioned on this list yet. :) Jessica www.myspace.com/jessicaboyd - --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. I might second that. The album version of Jupiter may work well too. It's a little slower and less poppy than the version she redid for the radio/video. ]:o_ I don't collect cows. Choose the singles from GAIW! lol.. Well, since Again and Again is not doing well (even though it did regain its bullet this week), I think it's time to choose the next single. IMO, the album has only 3 other songs that are single material: Good Day, Satellite and Only One Too. Now, the crucial thing is to decide the order... IF Again and Again were a hit, I'd definitly go with Good Day next. But since it isn't, I totally think they need to start from zero. Good Day seems to be too much of a follow up single rather than a single after a flop, if you know what I mean. I think Only One Too is their only chance and I think it could get a very cool and fast music video. Then go with Good Day and finish with Satellite (which I certainly think is very radio-friendly. Just fade out at 4:30 and than it's ready for radio!). I think Good Day has one thing going in its favor: Bad Day. I think it could actually get some radio play just because Bad Day is such a hit, but I may be completely wrong. Still, I'd go with Only One Too next. Also, people seem to think Drive To You could be a good single. While it is a good album track and possibly a great live one, it's just not catchy enough IMO. my 2 cents... ________________________________________________ WNET - www.wnetrj.com.br ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 May 2006 15:17:17 -0500 From: "Matt Sullivan" Subject: [EDA] Here's you're change to talk about Good Day From Jewel's myspace... Plus it's easy to learn to waltz if you don't know how. (PS - I love summer home too!) Then I chose joe firstman's car door for the bride and groom first dance, my husband and i are huge joe fans too! And no way I could leave poltz out, so later we played I Love Everything about you. =) Good Luck with the wedding plans! ~*"But don't wander too far, my one constant star, darkness exists, except where you are, my feet are filled with wandering, they follow your own, cause everywhere you are feels like home" -jewel kilcher, last dance rodeo*~ ~*"Call me naive, but i believe, your two blue eyes are all i need" jewel, does anyone believe in love anymore*~ - -- ___________________________________________________ Play 100s of games for FREE! http://games.mail.com/ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 May 2006 17:59:31 -1100 From: "miranda schwandt" Subject: [EDA] US weekly again Just wanted to let you know there was a quote in the loose talk section of US weekly, "There was once a girl hitting on Ty [Murray], my boyfriend...She had just been saying, 'Good thing your girlfriend's here, otherwise I'd give you a run for your money.' It pissed me off three ways from Sunday. I looked up at her and said, "My hands are small, I know, but they will choke the f**k out of you if you hit on my boyfriend anymore.' So I've quoted my songs in tacky ways!" -Jewel ~*"But don't wander too far, my one constant star, darkness exists, except where you are, my feet are filled with wandering, they follow your own, cause everywhere you are feels like home" -jewel kilcher, last dance rodeo*~ ~*"Call me naive, but i believe, your two blue eyes are all i need" jewel, does anyone believe in love anymore*~ - -- ___________________________________________________ Play 100s of games for FREE! http://games.mail.com/ ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #127 ****************************
