I think you'll enjoy it", he was perfectly right. Unfortunately, a lot of us will not get to enjoy it as we're unAmerican. By linking the DVD to Target -- in order to make more money, of course -- Jewel's management has really made the DVD exclusive: excluding all of us who don't live in Shrub's Own Country. From Alan's description it sounds like a nice DVD. I hope you Yanks enjoy it. Take care, Barry Howarth PS Sorry for the sour grapes, but I'm "having a bad day" and finding out Target doesn't ship internationally made it worse. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 3 May 2006 06:29:46 EDT From: HMN333@aol.com Subject: [EDA] half a$$ed review :) I won't go song by song, haven't time right now. I got the Target Bonus DVD also, but haven't watched it yet. A little nostalgic too, just thinking about some things I had been going through the last time I bought one of her albums.. But anyway.. As with all new Jewel CDs, I sat down (well, and cleaned around my house) and listened to the whole thing. Overall, I like it! There's a couple songs that may grow on me, and some I'd listen to every time. Some I didn't like at the beginning but by the time they were over I was boppin' along to them. Overall - I like it! I also noticed the fan thank-you (or lack thereof..) but what can ya do, I guess.. Good to hear from you. As I recall, you've traveled some pretty good distances to see Jewel in "the land down under." And you're a long-time, devoted EDA with limited access to some of the excvlusive stuff we get here in the U.S. You're just the kind of person I was thinking of when I bought a couple of extra Target CD/DVDs yesterday. :) I've already got one set aside for one of my favorite EDA friends (Angela) who's living in Poowong, Australia (Victoria). If you'd like the other, I'd be happy to send it to you. I also agree with Matt. The DVD is a pretty good look behind the scenes about the making of the A&A and GAIW. And she looks great!
