Now that sounds like an excellent idea! Perhaps she's inspired by the lovely Norah Jones, who recently put out a CD with a bunch of friends. Their country cover band "The Little Willies" features superb musicianship, country cover songs and some cleverly penned originals. Norah Jones is a goddess who is down to earth and unbelievably talented, not to mention naturally gorgeous, natural being the key word here. The Little Willies http://www.thelittlewillies.com and you can check out their myspace page for samples are hilarious and fantastic musicians. It's the bluesier side of country music, with elements of folk, etc. I love that Norah doesn't sell out ever, and just embraces great musicianship all the way down the line. That sounds really exciting about Jewel doing smaller albums at some point. I'd love to hear her do a jazzy album, or something country on a smaller scale. Cool. Glad she's thinking along those lines. JJ's prediction is right on and it contains several things you'll probably enjoy. First, it has a lengthy behind the scenes documentary on the making of the "Again And Again" video. This is very nicely done and has never been shown anywhere that I know of. Then it has the four making of the album segments that have been turning up on Jewel's sites and elsewhere over the past few weeks, followed by the definitive version of the "Goodbye Alice In Wonderland" video. (I say definitive because they shot four completely different versions of this to video. Those have been edited into several other versions that have been featured on the web in various places. I don't have the DVD handy at the moment to check exact timing but I recall it running about 40 minutes or so alltogether. It'll come in a seperate slipcase sleeve and has a different Jewel image from the album cover shoot on the sleeve. Its the kind of thing you guys have been requesting for years.
