I recently switched the Wiki software on the website and forgot to bring the Image gallery back. Sorry for those of you who scoured the place trying to find these pictures. It's up now and you can see the scans. :) Once again, thanks to EDA Cristian for scanning her book for me. The site is already down. Ironically, I wasn't checking email yesterday because I was with Dennis at Alan's (Mr. BB's) house. We even had a conversation wondering if Francois would do his yearly April Fool's joke but it didn't occur to us to actually check! LOL. I did get to see some videos from the archives including a hilarious one of Poltz and the Spirit Tour band on the bus leaving Woodstock '99; they were all singing a 30 minute version of Waterfalls and taking turns making up verses (similar to Love Is A Rose at the Hotel Cafe show with Poltz, Jewel, and Doug). Oddly, the bus driver was in the back making up verses as well (60 year old white guy trying to rap...pretty funny). We're not sure who was actually driving the bus at that point. Maybe he found a straight stretch of road and just set it to cruise control? :-P Amy N. www.edaf.org ********************************************* "All my life I wanted to be someone; I guess I should have been more specific." ~ Jane Wagner ~ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Apr 2006 12:06:31 -0400 From: Scott Subject: [EDA] Jewel to be on CD USA I think Jewel's going to be on DirecTV's CD USA in the coming weeks. The girl on there mentioned that she will be on, unless I completely mixed things up--I wasn't completely paying attention. Anyway, I'm pretty sure. And what the hell is up with the lack of Jewel appearances? I thought she had an album coming out in a month... - -- Scott http://www.scottanthony.org/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Apr 2006 16:29:52 -0700 (PDT) From: Heidi Irwin Subject: RE: [EDA] wow... this is Heidi formerly Pixi42. i just listened to again and again acoustic live on yahoo radio and i must admit i have to agree with the person who wrote that this is beautifully done and it makes me like the song more. i was the one who wrote that i thought it sucked etc.. soooo YOU WERE RIGHT ugh there i said it:) i still dont like the radio version at all and i still feel the same way about the lyrics but with jewels voice and the way she sings i guess lyrics are not the only thing that matter. maybe the album version is more like this than the radio version? does anyone know? ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #79 ***************************
