I realize that around the holidays everyones really eager to want to give and do things for others, but I've read less than 10 responses from people actually getting thier white elephant things. Now are they getting them and not responding or not getting anything and afraid to say anything? I got my stuff, but I never heard from Lauren who'm I sent stuff to but know it was received because my ups shipping code states it was. My boyfriend David never received anything from his white elephant even though he signed up and he's pretty bummed. We send his white elephant stuff through the jewel website and that took forever to ship but it says it was delivered but Matt never stated he got it. I think it's a nice concept and I've really enjoyed doing it for the last few years, but arent' we all adults on this list? If you say your going to do something really, you should do it. It's not the content, it's the thought behind it. David and I talked about how funny it would be to get someone's pillow case or their car mats, because from what I understand, white elephant was started not to be a gift exchange but a fun way for jewel fans to send things back and forth. Things just aren't going forth though. Just my 2cents. Jennifer MD angel ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V11 #2 **************************
