I'm not suprised you dont remember that story Mike after all you are getting old ;) That post is very old news, what shocked me is that Polioboy has a degree in Political Science. His laid back surfer/stoner attitude seems to clash with the Suit and Power time world of Washington... I cant believe Ive been on this list over 1/3 of my life. Next week will be by 8th anniversary of EDAness. Eliot aka centralfloridangel Tired of spam? Yahoo! Trust me, there's a Jewel reference. :) Kate DeAraugo A Place I've Never Been (Sony BMG) (Reviewer: Cameron Adams, Herald Sun) Another CD banged out in five days because the 'Idol' voting didn't milk enough cash out of the kids. Five days isn't enough for DeAraugo to find her sound, so they try to cover all bases, presumably unsure where she'll be marketed. So she swings from Kelly Clarkson-style aggro pop ('Faded', co-written by the Veronicas) to Alicia Keys-esque R&B ballads ('World Stands Still'). Bryan Adams' 'Heaven' is rendered as a piano ballad (DJ Sammy did this two years ago) and a Jewel-Guy Chambers ballad, 'If This is Love', suits her strong voice. Two-and-a-half stars - Rushed. ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V10 #287 ****************************
