One of my favorite things about this community and its people and sharing of music is how close it brought all the parts of this big country together. I've loved how i can have intelligent discussions about the San Diego and LA music scenes with musicians I meet...I've never been to either, but I have to keep reminding myself that....partly due to the living room concerts and Mr. Poltz's many visits to Boston. I'm not sure how ancient Larry or Karen are (Nice to see you post Karen! Loooooong time), but I know we have at least one now-lurker (still on the digest version of the EDA list) in his early to mid-60s who used to post a lot in the early days of the list. I'm thinking he's 63 or 64 now. Maybe he'll check in (I Blind CC'd this to him). Mike P.S. Karen, "stop by" more often! Tell Chris the same too. ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V10 #165 ****************************
