The way they treat us is disgraceful. I doubt petitioning this manager is going to do anything because he wants her to think everything is great. We need the people that get to meet her to tell her how disgraceful it really is. I was at a meet and greet last year and people were telling her that the website is great!!! No one wanted to upset her so I think no one tells her the truth so she probably believes everything is great. I was dying to say something then but I was near the end of the line and they ushered us by so fast that I could barely say hello. I know people who are close to people on the old Jteam and they were all let go because Azzoff convinced Jewel that he does it better. Also, I did the velvet rope tour....when you do this, they make you leave the item you brought to be autographed in a room and then Jewel signs them while you are touring the backstage area. Then after the meet and greet you pick your item up off a table in a hallway....well I brought my guitar and I gave my little sister who came with me an old poster I had (from the POY days) It was one of my fav posters. When we went to pick up our stuff my guitar (Thank goodness) was there but the poster was missing. I found the girls who were our "tour leaders" and told them what happened. They acted all concerned and gave us a small 0304 publicity poster that was signed and they said that they would replace our missing poster. They took down our name and address. There was also another fan that had the same thing happen to her that night. The two girls said that this has never happened before, but I find that hard to believe. It happened to two of us at one concert. There are a ton of people who do the meet and greet and all of the autographed stuff is just sitting unattended in a hallway. As I am sure you can guess....after many emails....I never received a replacement poster. I paid a lot of money for that "experience" and needless to say my little sister was totally let down. GGGRRRRRR. Sorry I am over 8 months pregnant and in the mood to vent! On a topic unrelated to unedited...I was only refunded for one of the two tickets I bought for the Jewel tour that was canceled when T bone died. Those were also very expensive tickets b/c they were guaranteed to be the first so many rows. I don't even remember how many times I emailed and got the response that they were having a problem with the system and that the check would be in the mail soon. I'm a pretty damn poor college student... I about chewed my nails off when I joined and truthfully, I haven't got anything out of it. For the $30 I could have changed the oil in my van, I could have paid for half of one of my text books, could'a picked up some school supplies or even bought a new shirt or jeans. Yet, here I am, faithful fan, and BOOM it explodes in my face. I don't blame Jewel but she seriously needs to peep out her site and see just what it is that we are getting. As for that GREAT 2005 FANCLUB PACK, well I'm also still starin at the dust on my monitor. (Can't afford cleaner, spent the $$$ on being a member to one of the worlds top 5 deadest fanclub lists that you have to pay for...) They simply do not upload anything anymore, and when they do it's rarely something interesting. Only at the beginning of this new site management they put some stuff there but now it's abandoned again. I don't want this rebellion to stop! We should let Jewel know somehow that we want her back and not just writing for people like Hilary Duff. Come on, Jewel, you're better than that!
