["Rob Hanning" Subject: [EDA] thanks guys... As far as the whole myspace things goes, you all totally backed me up in what I thought. If Jewel were to have a page, it would be very unique...filled with thoughts, lyrics and poetry. Too bad there's no way we can pass off the idea to her! Ketcham" Subject: [none] New article http://www.undercover.com.au/news/2005/may05/20050512_jewel.html 12 May 2005 Jewel is close to completing her 5th album and then she plans to leave her label Atlantic Records. The yet to be titled album was recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood with producer Mike Pela and engineer Todd Burke. Jewel has collaborated on the songs with Pela, but there could be some surprises. Collaborations with Rob Thomas and Brookes & Dunn are also expected. In an audio message posted at her website, Jewel says of the work in progress "I'm writing songs. I'm pretty excited about 2 of them, one of them is called 'Again, Again, Again' and the other one is called 'Satisfied'. The album is almost complete. It may include some more new songs but then she may dig into her vault of unrecorded material. "I have the record pretty much finished, I produced it myself, first time I ever produced myself, all by myself and it was really, really fun and really exciting" she says. "And um, now I'm just looking for one or two more songs to round out the record, but there's a lot of old stuff all of you know like Stephenville, TX, and um, 1000 Miles Away, even, maybe?" Her band includes Jim Keltner (drums) (John Lennon), Spooner Oldham (keyboards) (Bob Dylan, Neil Young) and Shane Theriot (guitar) (Neville Brothers). - -- No virus found in this outgoing message. I joined it last year and met my fiance through the site. We're getting married next June. I am incredibly thankful for myspace. It's a great site for small, upcoming local bands. A lot of my friends' bands are on there. Great site to get the word out about shows and such. I'm www.myspace.com/FVangel13 Later! Some up and coming new male and female singer/songwriters. I will not name anyone .I don't want to get more ridiculous email that I am "promoting" another artist which I am not. But there are some really cool talented unsigned new artists that are friends of the fake Jewel ! Kind of strange that such talented people are on a "fake" Jewel MYSPACE account, isnt it??
