Hey for Jewels new album, WHY do people want 1000 miles away? or Satellite or all these Old songs that we ALREADY have? The reason i can come up with would be to share these with the World that doesn't know these hidden Gems of Jewels... But if your like me, you have told your friends about Satellite, and Carnivore, and Nicotine Love, and Flower, Spivy Leeks, etc etc. and if your like me you have made them CD's i mean Tapes of these great songs. So for us, i would hope for some OldSkool Jewel mixed with some New Jewel, mixed with some Jewel we dont even know!! Some thing way cool for the next album. Maybe one of these OLD Songs could be her NEXT HIT... Maybe a GRAMMY?? I think there are some great songs on 0304. As with all of her CD's. POY has probable the most songs that everybody likes and loves. I also hope Jewel continues to tour, she has been one of the only artist that i have travel and spent soooooooooooooo much on tickets to go see, as far as the availability to her fans and that whole VELVET RiPoFF Rope thing, that was ok, but sad to put a price on meeting someone (makes it all about the $$$$) plus i went to 3 of them, and Jewel was not always in the best moods or friendliest, and to pay that much money just for 5 seconds with someone is ridiculous, and to not have them be all sincere or too open. I know Jewel has some Social issues, and the pressure it would be to have all those people around, but if you make people pay to meet you, you better be nicer (is that a word?) and open and friendly. I was at Soul City Cafe finals, and went into the sound check, and had a meet and greet with Jewel.. this was for FREE, and it was better than all those Velvet ropes... Jewel was so much fun, and everybody was having a great time..
