I think she's disillusioned... but I don't think she'll stop her career having the 0304 album as a last album... so I wouldn't worry about that.... :o) I like the idea that Jewel isn't feeding any expectation about her new album. But fans could be more open minded to accept new works. I don't mean accepting everything but at least not hoping that she repeats a "Pieces of You" album. I think we all miss the "old Jewel" but while we stay "living" on that time, we'll always turn things difficult for us and even for Jewel. Let Jewel take her time - you already know what can happen if she's under pressure.. :o) I prefer that she releases an album many years later and be a good album, which songs are written sprouting from her soul than writing songs just to fill a CD. Was it too soft?? Not cool sound for ATLANTIC?? Was jewel dissapointed about it?? In my eyes i have seen jewel for the last time in 2002 and since that moment her career was not so running anymore.. Okay she released 0304 but i want to read more news about jewel! I guess for over a year hardly anything happened!
