I got the following message probably six weeks ago. I fully expect that Musictoday would have the site up and running in Jan. I've never really had a problem with them - they do the DMB fan club and website and it has always worked great. In fact, DMB does one thing on their pre-sale that I wish every band did - your place in line is determined by how long you've been a member. So there is incentive/rewards for being a longtime subscriber. == Rob == The company managing Unedited, the official Jewel fan community, experienced a rocky road this year and it eventually closed the club in July. However, good times are just around the bend! We are happy to announce an all new Jewel Unedited will be launching in January, 2005. That's right, Jewel's fan club is being reorganized and developed at its new home with Musictoday. The new Unedited will welcome back all of its existing members to come in and take a look around. Musictoday is dedicated to providing a fun online community for all of Jewel's fans. Members will have access to an exclusive web site which will include features such as photo galleries, message boards, interviews, and special video footage and audio clips. Unedited will also keep you informed with the latest news and tour information, exclusive contests, special access to Jewel concert tickets, and allow you a behind-the-scenes look at Jewel. Musictoday knows that the existing members have been waiting patiently for the relaunch of Unedited and have questions about their place in the club. We assure you that you will have access to the new Unedited for the remaining balance of your membership. Therefore, if you had 3 months left on your membership when the club closed, you will have full access to the new club for 3 more months. New members can also take advantage of all the exclusive site features, plus receive a welcome package to show our appreciation for your membership. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Jan 2005 20:25:02 -0500 From: GWJewelGrL@aol.com Subject: [EDA] signs of the life on Jeweljk.com Hey all, After reading Mike's post, I decided to check out the website for myself. Guess what, it's different! The homepage of the site has a brand new look, and I think it is as of today, because there's a note with today's day on it. I could be wrong as I gave up on the site weeks ago, and haven't checked back since, but I am pretty sure this is brand new. Check it out! *the mystic angel* Jordana ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Jan 2005 01:59:23 GMT From: "faars1@juno.com" Subject: [EDA] Re: jewel webpage If anyone hasn't checked it out lately.
