It's been my source of Jewel news. It's where I went before Mr.BB sent out those Jewel updates... so yeah, and we know best what Jewel is up to (besides behind the scenes things like what she is recording). Even then, a lot of times, someone on this list will find out about it and which producer she's been meeting with. This is the place to find out what TV show she is appearing on and where she's at. Let's do something nice, to show that we are still here. We are still inspired by her and to not let her forget about why she started singing in the first place. Any suggestions? And it's sad that the doofus people doing Jewel's website can't even hyperlink correctly to HGH. ::sigh:: Elizabeth > > Oh, and I thought it might be a nice idea to think about what we've done for > Jewel lately, as I get the feeling she's lonely, maybe lost or afraid, and > misses us. > > -=-Larry-=- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Dec 2004 04:14:51 EST From: rawhite78@aol.com Subject: [EDA] NJC:White Elephant is tromping to YOU! This is my first year doing white elephant and I'm not sure what kind of thing you are supposed to send. Will someone please give me some guidance- what have you sent/received in the past? I'm sending internationally, I have no idea what you are supposed to send without buying something. Help! Josie The Vegan Angel __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Will Well, I haven't done it before, but I think the general idea is anything you have that someone else might like and/or find amusing. Like, say, for instance, you decide you're going to be famous someday, and that your signature could be worth millions... You could sign a favorite guitar pick or box of tofu and send it along. Maybe make a Jewel collage out of broccoli. (OK, maybe not, that might be kinda gross by the time they get it :P) Maybe you have a collection of fuzzy cat stickers that you just don't know what to do with. White elephant! Maybe you have a sticky collection of fuzzy cats... don't send those :P I think the general idea is to be a bit creative, have fun doing it, and hope the person on the other end has fun receiving it :) Maybe some past participants will chime in with things they've gotten/sent. It might be a fun read :) ===== ]:o_ Jason Quattrini The Master Cow _o:[ |O = "I am a WERECOW!
