Take Gwen for example. If she released 0304, there would be no bad buzz at all. I don't know, Jewel and her record company should have been more careful in their promotion, since it was not a predictable follow-up. Fabio - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I was at a small party/get together and a few girls (ages 19-22) were going through CDs trying to decide what to play. The girl who owned the CDs had Jewel's POY, and they started saying "Oh m'god! I love YWMFM and WWSYS!!" Of course they didn't know any others. I hung back and didn't say much at first, thinking it would be interesting to find out how much they knew about Jewel, and they talked about POY like it was her only album. When I did pipe up and mention her other albums, most of them had no idea she had done anything else, and only one had heard of Hands. I was surprised that such an old album (though with several popular songs) was still remembered and even owned by these girls who knew nothing more of Jewel. I've always been a huge fan, so I knew exactly what album she was coming out with and when. I just wonder how these girls who'd liked her first album knew nothing of the preceeding ones. Just thought I'd share the experience!! Josie: The Vegan Angel The all-new My Yahoo! Get yours free! ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V9 #316 ***************************
