Hi Jewelies, I am looking for EDA Melissa Hackworth, I wanted to check and see if she recieved my angelfood package (she had moved a while back and lost her angelfood so I sent her a bunch of my leftovers)- There was a mix-up and I am a procrastinator on top of it, but I sent it to her priority and wanted to make sure she recieved it. Melissa let me know! or if someone knows her email addy let me know :-) thanks. cristian Read only the mail you want - Yahoo! Because so many of you responded to my earlier give-away, I wanted to give a better and more fair chance to you all this time around. I have eight tapes, I am splitting them up into 2 groups, and giving them to the 5th emailer and the 15th emailer (since I know some eda's don't check their mail so often. The tapes are kind of weird, they have radio station interviews on them, and some weird compilation action going on. I am not saying which tapes you'll get, but you'll get 4 of the ones below (Mike, again, I hope this is OK, I feel like I am holding meat infront of wolves :-) Rare Jewels (or ultimate rare jewels rather, it has songs from Now That You Have me all the way to Violet Eyes)- Then a tape that has all of Jewel's soundtrack songs on one side, and the other has Steve Poltz, Detroit MI, 8-8-99 Dallas Radio Interview tape that also has z-100 Sept. 19th 2001 Pine Knob Music Theater, Detroit, MI 8-8-99 DDDelight (on tape) with some soundtrack fillers VH1 Storytellers 1999 Spinner Radio 2002- Interviews and live songs Jewel Z-100 Interview with a bunch of extras So those are the tapes. Good luck 5th and 15th emailer :-) :-) cristian p.s.- if some of these tapes turn out pretty good, maybe some of you all could start treeing them and trading for eachother! Yahoo! I just bought This Way (yes, I know... I missed the boat by a year or two :P) I got it used, and it seems to have a bit more scrathces than I would have thought. As far as I know, all of the songs play fine (the only CD player I tried it in is flaky anyway) but I put it into my computer to listen to it there, and saw the bonus features. My question is, are they worth returning the CD for? The section of the CD with the computer data on it is messed up, and my computer crashes while trying to load the icons and things for the programs on the CD. (Well, doesn't crash, but there is an unreadable spot that it hangs at, and I have to kill the window it's loading in, which potentially kills my computer). From what I could tell, there is wallpaper, a screen saver, and a video, but that's about all I can tell before it falls down and goes "boom!" ===== ]:o_ Jason Quattrini The Master Cow _o:[ |O = "I am a WERECOW! Hello Jewelies, Don't worry if you don't win the tapes, infact, I would wish for the winners to make copies for fellow EDA's that just didn't hit the 5th or 15th spot :-) It is the only thing that will make me happy- everyone share! cristian the angelfood-givingaway-angel (and non-tape-player/recorder having angel) Express yourself with Y! Mike, maybe you could help me out, there was a guy way back when, who's name was Jeff I think? Jeff something, claimed to be a major part/creator of the list at the time in 97ish. He also gave her an original POY booklet (the famous cream and purple one) and some other things. The cool thing is that within the J-card of the Shiva tape, Jewel had drawn a picture of "a wolf drinking iced-tea in the mountains of Alaska" and signed it-- There is an old-school EDA out there that MUST remember this story, and Mike, if you could find it, or Mr. BB, I would love to know the when and where of it all. Thanks guys :-) cristian louvier Yahoo! Mail - Helps protect you from nasty viruses. ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V9 #283 ***************************
