Is she spending half the show singing OLD song's from her first few CD's or is she actually singing stuff from Afterglow, Surfacing n Fumbling towards escasty? (p.s. Still think the 0304 Afterglow Tour would've been the best!!!) /\ the reason I didn't have to put NJC!! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Aug 2004 16:37:12 -0400 (EDT) From: "shell" Subject: [EDA] angelfood Hey kids, I'd like to get my hands on a cd of Jewel's performance at Woodstock a few years back. I've got a video of it, but lost it and would love an audio of it. I don't have anything to trade, but will pay. Any takers, just email me. Mike ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Aug 2004 23:30:46 EDT From: W1GGY2@aol.com Subject: [EDA] NJC: Poltzie Hi guys, I've seen Steve Poltz in a lot of cool places (New Orleans, living room concerts, San Diego to name a few) but last night was definitely the coolest. On a boat going under the Brooklyn, Williamsburg, and Manhattan bridges, then circling the Statue of Liberty! What a great way to see a show. The boat was rocking, though...both literally and figuratively, but nevertheless Steve managed to stay on his feet most of the time even while climbing onto some empty chairs and his guitar cases. The guy's a nut. Anyway, it was a blast and the weather was gorgeous. Looking forward to the outdoor show this Saturday in Connecticut. I hope all local EDA's will make it out! If you've never seen Steve live you're in for the show of your life, guaranteed! Amy N. (to save Mike the extra effort of adding the usual disclaimer, for the uninformed Steve Poltz is Jewel's longtime friend, collaborator, ex-boyfriend) ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V9 #238 ***************************
