I have the Sundays version of this song - indeed, as Melissa says, originally by the Rolling Stones (one of my fave Stones' songs). It's likely this one that people think may be Jewel. BTW, CBC Radio (Canada) did an on-air challenge tonight for a panel of people who were played clips of different artists yodelling and they had to guess who it was... and, naturally, there was a piece of Chime Bells played! cheers, Adrian (the ca - noing Angel) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Aug 2004 13:08:23 +0100 From: "Gary Stanley" Subject: RE: [EDA] WILD HORSES... I actually think you could have downloaded the "Wild Horses" cover as done by Charlotte Martin. It's an excellent cover of the Rolling Stones song that was a free download on her official website (www.charlottemartin.com) for a while but then removed ... probably because it's going to be included on her debut album "On Your Shore", out August 10th. I'm not sure if Charlotte has been mentioned before on the list but she is kind of a cross between Jewel & Tori Amos and is EXCELLENT (especially live), you should all check her out .... They did a really pretty, kind of eerie version of it and it was played during an episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", the series. Hope this helps. Shes more of a pre-Madonna. Before I went on tour, they said that shes not open at allshe doesnt hang outshe never drinksshe doesnt party. She mustve liked me manwe drank vodka every night. We would go to a bar and sing karaoke. I actually wrote a song for her. We did it in the encore every night. Shes gonna put it on her next record. She ended up being great. I mean shes a pre-Madonna no doubt about it, but we got along real well." Sounds like she's putting "Everything Reminds Me of You" on her next album. I am so excited!
