It's such a great show and if you can score the tickets, you gotta go! It's a very entertaining show. She even does "Material Girl" with an electric guitar. How cool is that? Last time around (on her Drowned tour), I must say I was pretty bored. I did not see the concert live, but I saw the HBO special and I fell asleep (even though I own the album) .. it was just a boring show. This time was different though. She did a good collection of songs. Thematically, they all led to one another too. She did a good job of arranging the songs and setting up the stage design. My favorite has got to be Vogue and Like a Prayer. She got everyone on their feet with those two numbers. Not surprising I guess since those are popular songs. ::shrug:: Whatever, "Like a Prayer" was so much fun =) Anywho, I'm still on a high from my trip (Madonna AND Vegas in one trip!). So yeah ... check it out if you can! The prices are on the high end of concert prices ... but probably on my list of best concerts I've ever been to =D Did anyone else on the list go? or is going to go? I myself never taped a show until a few wks ago. But i actually went out & purchased a sony md recorder & small mic & thanks to fellow eda James Brogdon who advised me of what kind of equipment to use & who is transferring the show form md to cd for me! So I am calling all the angels to help keep our trading alive!! I would hate to look back at my angelfood collection in 20 yrs & see only a handful of shows after 2002. Anyone attending any of jewels upcoming west coast tours- find someone with a mini-disc recorder or other equipment & tape some shows!!! LIke all of u guys, i love trading jewel shows & seeing my angelfood collection grow, but its kinda depressing now with jewel playing all these acoustic shows, & so few of them available. anyway, I hope more 2004 shows will pop up & that more & more edas will venture into the world of taping shows so our trading can continue!! - -Matt ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V9 #154 ***************************
