You weren't there, so to be honest with you, you really would not have a clue if they were good or not. By the time she got to Melbourne and Sydney - I'm pretty sure she would've been a bit pissed about how the tour was going seeing as the first two shows she did were at wineries and by the time she got on stage people were drunk (lol we are Aussies after all) and were talking through her songs. I went to the three shows at the Opera House and I thought they were amazing. She was in a good mood for all of them, and yes she was asking the crowd what they wanted to hear - but hasn't she always done that anyhow? As for her having a fight with Ty - it really isn't any of our business anyhow whether she did have a fight with him. But I know at one of the concerts in Sydney (and I'm almost positive it was the Thursday night concert) right before she sang 2 Become 1 she said "this is for my cowboy". And if I am right and it was the Thursday night show - that was the same show that she opened with Everything Breaks - at which a lot of people on the forum seemed to speculate that that means her and Ty had had a fight right before the show. That Thursday night show was amazing - one of the best concerts I've ever been to (or heard - and I have a lot of angelfood). And the interview on the Today Show - seriously, lol if you watched a lot of Australian tellie and had actually seen Richard Wilkinson do an interview before, you wouldn't be surprised in the slightest at how bad that interview was. He is one of the worst interviewers that I've ever seen - so I wouldn't be blaming Jewel for being in a bad mood knowing she was being interviewed by him again. And last of all - as for the whole bad hairday thing lol - and I know you were referring to her having a bad hairday because of the supposed "bad mood" that she was in, but lol the bad hairday was thanks to a photo shoot with Vogue where the hairstylist crimpped her hair so that she'd have "angel hair". LOL so I really wouldn't be blaming Jewel for that either. Regardless of the impression of the Aussie concerts that you have created without actually even going to them Michiel - I thought that it was a GREAT tour. I'm not looking to start an argument with you or anything Michiel, I just don't think that all of this negativity is called for when you didn't experience them yourself. Okay that's my rant. The second one which was TODAY SHOW didnt turn out like they thought. JEWEL AGREED TO A LONG INTERVIEW AND A PERFORMANCE OR TWO during the show. When she showed up she was in a really bad mood. She gave a 5 min interview and refused to sing a note. Also my friend in AUSTRALIA went to see her live in concert last week in AUSTRALIA! He also said she was in a very bad frame of mind. He said she was asking the audience WHAT SHOULD I SING BECAUSE I REALLY DONT KNOW what you want. He said she really seemed fed up and it was a huge dissapointment to the crowd SO YOU SEE JEWELFANS!!! ANGELS can have their bad days and since swapping MANAGEMENT JEWEL Is not the same i guess anymore.. But okay this can be a mistake by jewel and perhaps she had a fight with ty.. So within 8 shows Jewel is in a bad mood, what will happen to jewel in the usa, if she does more shows?? I guess maybe the same, maybe not... What gives you the right to insult our experiences when you weren't there? Trust us, if we all loved it, then it was good. You have no right to basically say "what the heck do they know, I've been to more and I know, without even being there, that those concerts were crap". Jewel was *not* in a bad mood at the melbourne concert. She was ultra giggly and couldn't stop laughing at a few points. She was also not in a bad mood on thursday and friday. She laughed quite a few times, and dedicated the song to Ty in a cute girly way. She obviously just wanted to sing a few of the slower songs first. It's not always about the SET LIST! You've been to so many you forget that for some of us this is our first chance to see her and we are desperate to hear the songs we want most. I don't want a set list full of songs I've never heard (but one or two new ones thrown in is a big treat). We requested what we wanted, and we got it, so the set list was not static. She sounded *amazing* on the tuesday and thursday - as shannon said even out of the angelfood I've heard, she sounded better than ever. She sang Break Me so well on tuesday night I could hardly breathe. Stop making claims about shows you were not at. I'm sick of having our experiences belittled, when they were amazing shows. Oh and the Today show would NEVER EVER have a long interview and performance. They always have very short interviews. But let me guess, you know more about aussie tv now than we do as well?
