See you around in the Coronado Theater in Rockford IL on 17 March ! We (two guys from holland) are in Chicago to see 4 Melissa Etheridge shows. One day before that party we will attend the Jewel gig in Rockford. (We discovered Jewel's music through VH1 with Melissa) We are still figuring what the easiest and most comfortable way is to travel from Chicago to Rockford and back. Is anybody here expert in public transportation in that area?? Could be a problem to travel back after the show because its late then. The last solution is a rental car but that is not our preference. Can't wait to meet some of you crazy guys again ;-) We are in section OR6. Recognition is easy.... we will wear our new own-made melissa-tourshirts ofcoarse. I would love to see Jewel acoustic again and it seems to be that way. Back to the 1997 feeling I hope....... I have some video tapes with Jewel concerts that are really great (so I've been told, I never watched them myself, that's the problem) that are NTSC format. I actually found someone who was going to do the copying for me (and that maked me really happy) but later on he found out that with the equipment he has the quality would be unacceptably poor. And that makes me unhappy! Is there someone that can copy NTSC video tapes to DVD/VCD? That would be really great, I would be able to play them on my DVD player (which can also play NTSC discs, it's a region free player). I will of course return a favor to the one who helps me out! After you copied the tapes for me you may keep them. I can't play them anyway. I'm also willing to throw in some audio concert recordings (on cd). I've got quite a list of angelfood (I've been trading a lot). If you can help me, please let me know. It's not Jewel ignoring anyone, it's not Jewel dissing anyone, it's not Jewel who feels that people haven't been gracious to her, or that she dislikes certain states.
