I couldn't open this link direct (it could be my computer) so if it doesn't work for you also, open windows media player, go to file, then "open url" and copy and paste this link into that space (the way you would with the media on Jewel:Unedited). http://home.comcast.net/~dhliu/shebangs.wmv :) Melee ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Feb 2004 19:11:43 -0200 From: "Fabio" Subject: Re: [EDA] Jewel's new haircut I think she looks really similar to Nina Person (I think that's her name), from The Cardigans. Have you seen their video for My Favorite Game, in which she is driving a car and she's really crazy and all? So, Jewel is looking like her in that video. Anyway, that is a great video/song! Oh, and Jewel looks alright. She does look very different and, I don't know, stylish. I hope she doesn't always have these straight bangs, you know, they are quite long so she can always just take them off her forehead. I got home late last night from a business trip, and was joyed to see the post about the webcast on a PJ board. I didn't check the link before going to sleep. And, as Mike has pointed out, the site has an asterisk by Jewel's name (and the Counting Crows, too) noting that these shows are NOT being webcast (unlike concerts by The Strokes and others). So, we won't be sharing in this experience. Anyway, I'll make sure to check out links in future so as to not make the same error again ( : peace, Adrian "Why music?" What it does remind me of is Mary from Peter, Paul and Mary -- 60s folk/pop. So it looks as if the "Intuition" look is gone and Jewel's back to what some people think of as her "roots" (though I think her roots are more in Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone territory). I quite like the look -- it's certainly better than some of the hairdos she's had in the past. But she'll still sound great, whatever hairdo she has. Only a week to go!! She is covering up so much of her beautiful face, she looks like a sheepdog. At first I couldn't access the picture on the webpage, and the way you all are talking I thought her hair was REALLY short, and it is funny but embarrassing that I seriously would feel different about her if she cut all her hair off, how lame am I??!! Anyways, I don't like the hair. Barry Howarth wrote: Hi Angels, While I don't remember Twiggy with that hair style, I think the period is right.
