They are setting it up so we can ask questions and they can relay them back to management for answers. And today we found out that there will be a special tour release of 0304 on January 24th, featuring live tracks! Unfortunately, this will be released in Australia only, but I'm pretty sure Amazon.com will have it available on their website to order. They usually have the imported Jewel stuff. Since January 8th, I've recieved 2 Jewelinks, although they're kind of impersonal, and one other e-mail from Jeweljk about other info. A few unedited members are recieving their photos for the second time around now; perhaps they're authentic versions since Unedited said that they will get it out when things got sorted. Perhaps fansrule may actually be cleaning themselves up, which I have no problem with. Maybe they'll stick around even after filing for bankrupt, and actually are re-organizing. At least it looks like they're trying to give us what we want. They're taking all sorts of suggestions to improve the official forum, and choosing moderators. Right now, things look pretty promising! In other little tidbits of news, I don't know if Fredsteve has posted this here yet but he said in the street team forum: "2 Become 1 is back in the Mediabase list of the top 20 greatest gainers... it's got like 10 or 15 more stations than it did last time it was on that list (it gives the number of stations playing the song)... and for the first time ever, this week the song has had more than 20 stations playing it more than 7 times a week. So... now is a good time to start requesting again, as it seems this song isn't done!... it would be GREAT if this could be come a Hot AC hit, and I think it's still a possibility." Jewel appeared on Sharon Osbourne's show on Monday. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was changed at the last minute. So we can't really get pissed that they missed that on the calendar. I didn't see it (Mom forgot to press record while I was in school), but for those of you concerned with Jewel's image, someone said she had straight hair, and a normal long black flower print dress on. Jewel is selling amazingly well in Australia. In Sydney, they originally had her to play one acoustic show at the opera house. It sold out in a couple of hours, so a second show was opened, and I think has sold out as well. There is now a third show set up! They even had to change venues in Tasmania from a 2000 seater to a 4000, due to high demand. Lucky Aussies. And from what I've gathered from websites, articles, and fans talking about concerts, Jewel is thinking about leaning towards jazz (and possible country/folk) for her next album. It's not as good as it was before VH! took it over, but it's still pretty great for checking out to see when a fave artist of yours might have a TV appearance within the next month.
