They made reference to some "OZEDA" list or being from Oz (Australia), and, in my case, claimed to be for someone named "Nat" or "Natalie." *ALL* 3 copies did come from the same computer even though they were forged to look like different senders, so this looks like a variation on some of the other recent viruses that resend messages from the infected computer, yes. Watch out, folks, keep your computer patched and your anti-virus software updated. Someone clearly didn't. Installing free "firewall" software like ZoneAlarm probably wouldn't hurt, either. Jewel has said in recent interviews that she is thinking about touring 0304 again next year, but not to count on it, as she's still not sure. Sorry but she hasn't been to Australia since 1999... and she's NEVER toured solo in Australia... I think it's perfectly right of her to put an Australia/NZ tour above any rescheduling of dates in the states, especially since she toured the USA fairly extensively *twice* in 2002 (This Way Tour and New Wild West Tour)... and has already played close to 20 shows in the USA in 2003... and ESPECIALLY while she's still playing just acoustic shows, because the chances of getting another acoustic tour in Oz are fairly small. In fact I think it would be right for Jewel to visit Asia and Europe/UK before coming back to the states to tour... I didn't see Lyon's Den (I will soon hopefully) but from Jewel's performance in Ride with the Devil I'd argue Jewel is ahead of *most* singers turned actresses in terms of talent ... she needs experience though. But Ride with the Devil was a great film and Jewel's performance was very strong. She played a character completely different from her normal "persona". If the way she acted in the Lyon's Den was similar to her normal persona then it's probably because that type of performance suited the part.... but Jewel proved to me that she can play something different by what she played in Ride with the Devil. And just in quick defence of J-Lo. She *was* an actress first, and she is a good actress. If you don't believe that go and rent Selena, Out of Sight, U-Turn, Blood & Wine, or The Cell. But particularly Out of Sight - - she was really excellent in that movie and in fact I think she's a first-rate actress. Her downfall is the films she picks. I wish she would stop picking films that play to her "Jenny from the Block" persona (ie - Maid in Manhatten) and actually pick films with decent scripts. Anyway... if I ever get to see Jewel's episode of the lyon's den then I will comment on it. I'm glad she kissed Rob Lowe... because it puts to rest the rumours that she was fired for refusing to do it. If her performance was at least decent then I doubt she'd be fired for bad acting. I think it probably had more to do with the show struggling in the ratings than anything. I'm actually not even sure they've shot any more episodes.. there aren't any scheduled to air. It was a very good show. Jewel played for about two hours including in that time was two encores. Some crazed spectator got onto the stage and security had to pull him off, Jewel let out a gasp when she finally saw him, which wasn't until security was pulling him down. She never continued the song she had started when he distracted her. Jewel seemed in good spirits throughout the show and talked to the crowd quite a bit. I heard the longest version yet about the story behind "Race Car Driver." Was anyone else at this show? Anyone record it? I want to see Jewel again! I want to go on the Velvet Rope Tour next time. I almost did this time but then decided for just tickets. :-( I saw the people going backstage to see Jewel. I also saw her bus at the side of the building, but I was not sure when she was coming so I eventually left. Good show. Great to see this raw acoustic Jewel.
