The only reason I let this go on is because it was as a direct result of something Jewel actually did. If someone joined this list and just started ranting about Jewels "attributes" and/or allegedly had pictures of such I would have nipped (no pun intended) it in the bud. Ever notice that this list never even remotely resembles the wildness of say, the AOL Jewel board or alt.fan.jewel? Two reasons for that. One, you have to join this list and two, youll get your butt tossed rather swiftly. I'm not trying to point a finger at anyone, but I have a feeling that someone(not necessarily a member) might have gotten my email address from this list. The messages are archived at the smoe.org website & are publically viewable, so any "spam bot" could easily collect lots of addresses from this list. Anyway, I'm thinking of switching to another address to use on this list. I might even cancel this email account if the spam gets out of hand. I'm taking other measures as well, since I don't know exactly where my address was obtained. This has been happening for about a week or 2, although it hasn't been that bad since I'm only getting a couple spam messages a day. I'll see what happens over the next week or so, & if it doesn't stop, I'll have to take more drastic measures. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Oct 2003 09:38:05 -0500 From: "Lew - New World Warehouse" Subject: RE: [EDA] Re: Evil Boobies Try to keep in mind that Michiel isn't American or British - his understanding of certain English words may not carry the same meaning as it does to you. My drummer is Colombian and he does the same stuff. He'll say words that DO fit, but he doesn't get the slight "underlying" meanings to them. I'm not saying this was definitely the case, but remember, not everyone on this list is from the U.S. so try to keep that in perspective. Now, on the other hand, he could have meant exactly that, but obviously you aren't taking that into consideration. Lew Original Message: UGH. The reason I was offended is because Michiel said "inspect." You don't INSPECT people. When I hear "inspect," I think in my head, a lab where she's laying and having all of us prod at her as if there's nothing more to her than what's to be inspected, and what he said was to be inspected was her breasts. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Oct 2003 10:01:18 -0700 (PDT) From: boyCradle Subject: [EDA] Jewel was #50 in FHM Singapore I didn't know Jewel was the 50th Sexiest Woman in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women In the World Poll 2002 of FHM Singapore . http://www.fhm.com.sg/girls/100sexiest.htm ~``boyCradle The New Yahoo! This is just a reminder to all that political discussion is not allowed on this list. The reason, simply, is that it is typically a hot-topic that gets way out of control very fast. It's one thing to mention that a figure such as US President Bush is visiting your country, however the last two sentences above can and most likely will invite some replies, and I am hoping that I can nip this one in the bud before it grows into something we really do not want to see on this list. OH! haha, wrong lyrics. i really hate when you don't know the lyrics to a song, so you make them up, and then one day you hear the title and you go, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!! it makes me feel really dumb. this happened to me with U2's bloody sunday. i always thought it was someday, buddy someday, hahahaaaa.....whoops!!! this is the end of my post, it's been lovely chatting. nessa *the utterly depressed, didn't go to school or smile all day because this, in fact, is NOT the year angel* The New Yahoo!
