I've been hearing T-Bone died of an aneurysm, but the recent article about the tour cancellation said he died of a stroke. Is this a misprint or is an aneurysm & stroke the same thing? I'm not really "medically inclined", so forgive me if I sound stupid for asking. If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it. It even has a little info on each when you click on them, for example: Album Information Woman to Woman Artist Jewel Album Title Woman to Woman Date of Release Dec 13, 1994 Genre Rock Type single Album Releases: 1994 CS Atlantic 98185 I'm just really curious about what these songs are like, if they even exist. Anyone have any idea? Also, on that page, I also found a great review for 0304, found here: http://artistinfo.netscape.com/cg/x.dll?UID=9:59:30|AM&p=netscape&sql=2:640610 I wont paste it in my e-mail because its so long, but its definately worth reading. If anyone can > shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it. Thanx. > Hi, well I'm no doctor either, but I think Ican give you some of the infprmation I was given (sadly), when I suffered a stroke 3 years ago (age 26 then). Basically, there are two different types of strokes: One where something (plaque) blocks the brain arteria, so that no more blood gets into the brain, which causes the cells to die(that what happened in my particular case). The other way a stroke can happen, is when a bleeding in the brain occurs, in which case immediate surgery is necessary. And it is this bleeding an aneurysm can (does?) cause. So, in a way, both, stroke as wwell as aneurysm is true. Bye... Hey guys! What ever happened to that Jewel Website Creating Contest??? Who won it? I tried out and so I was just really curious. Anyone know? Charlie PS. I also think this new guy in charge of Jewelink is PATHETIC!!! We never hear anything!!! Soon we will get a letter that will be like... OH yeah, Jewel did a FREE tour last week. HAHA, its not THAT bad, but thats how I feel.... OH yeah, Jewel is on Redbook, we have known about this for like 3 months, but its out now so yeah, buy it. Haha, sorry.>> I have to agree, Charlie... It's a lot more, well... mechanical in tone than it used to be. There's no more "Playing now: Bearsville" things at the end of emails, or much of anything to endear us to this new person doing the Jewelink. (As well as what you mentioned, that they're seriously slower... I know that they've put a note on the website about T-Bone's passing and the subsequent cancellation of the tour, but have we actually gotten a Jewellink about that? [We may have and due to this headache I have, I may just be forgetting.]) Anyhoo. Yeah, I agree with ya. Hi All, To shed some light on the subject, It was probably both. An anerysm causes a bleed and if it happens in the brain it would cause a stroke. Chris was partially right, there are actually three types of stroke: embolic (a blood clost from another part of the body enters the vessels in the brain and blocks them), ischemic (narrowing of the arteries does not allow enough oxygen-rich blood to enter the brain and brain tissue dies), and hemmorhagic (a vessel breaks causing bleeding in the brain). Chris, sorry to hear about your stroke at a young age, I hope you came through it with little residual effect.
