Needs to be longer though. Perhaps this will spark a flurry of activity on the list, 1/4 of the EDAs posting new and great uses for the disc, and the rest going on a "burn the jewel heretics" rage :-) My favorite use on the page was the last-- using the disc as stationary to write Atlantic.. Hell, I might actually do that! Another use would be to use a lighter to apply heat to the back side of the cd, then gently form a bowl. Jason: Well, yeah, I think it'll stick. People always have had a respect for that. I think it's timely because everyone loves reality television; everyone loves reality shows. And a singer-songwriter is reality music, you know. They can see the artist, and they can believe that this person wrote it, and they can believe the stories that they're telling. Songwriters will last forever. But what I found interesting is Liz Phair and Jewel, both very respected singer-songwriters who established themselves, have now both released big pop records. I know Jewel well, and I know she's making it complete mockery of it and having fun with it. And I think it's great. I think it's a great business move.
