That sexiness is inevitable for this hippie-turned-hottie, but "Stand" is all about her man, rodeo legend Ty Murray. Jewel says, "It's about solidarity. It's about finding someone to love and making a stand. It was a love song; it was for Ty." Jewel told "Extra" her relationship with Ty also inspired her to pen a new book of poetry. Stand got off to a bangin' start today with 24 PRE-IMPACT adds at Pop... and a bunch at Hot AC as well. She was tied for 3rd Most Added at pop ... with songs that were actually going for adds this week. So it's pretty much certain she'll get #1 most added at both formats next week... and she should get a significant amount too, hopefully. Anyway now is the time to start requesting. The video should be out within the month and hopefully this song can be Jewel first real "2nd single" hit since her first album.
