If your able to go back through the archives you will find that when the jewel team mentioned that the unedited subscribers would have access to presale tickets there was no mention of what kind of tickets would be available. The only thing that pre-sale advance buyers have the advantage of is actually "getting" a ticket before public sales start. I will say that the tickets available for the presale were pretty bad. Maybe because this was the first time for the unedited site. I get presale information for Tori Amos and have only once scored excellent seats (2nd row). I looked for tickets for Jewel's DC show which now is at the 9:30 club and it only showed General Admission tickets available. That scared me off and I did not make a purchase. While Im not saying that what the unedited site did is ok, Im just saying that at least there are tickets available. My only suggestion would be that if the venue is a fairly large one and your not able to get good seats for the presale, be ready to jump on wagon as soon as the public sales start. LASTLY, dont hold your breath for front row seats. From experience I know that 90% of front row seats are held for authorized ticket traders. Last year we saw Jewel at the NJ PAC, Wolftrap, Tower in PA, Atlantic City and DC. ALL our seats came from Ticket traders and Ebay because it was the only way we could get close to her. AND BOY WERE WE CLOSE. =) Jewel actually kissed my boyfriend after he gave her flowers at the Atlantic City show. Want to talk about a guy smiling for the rest of the week. I have 3rd row pit to philly and I could have had 3rd row pit at madison square garden if i wanted them. All off unedited You ahve to plan to be online right as the presale starts. Unfortunately, there are ticket brokers who pay the $40 fee to get the presales too, and they snatch things up early. The pre-sales only get a certain number of tickets from the venues, because they are special sales. So, obviously they only get a handful of the best seats, and those go up fast. You are getting tickets before the public which enables you to get more seats together and prevents you from getting sold out on. I don't have anythign to say about the music today problems, but that is a complaint that needs to be taken up with music todya, not jeweljk or unedited's problem. And if you are really unhappy, all you have to do is not subscribe next year. That's a form of protest and no one forced you to do it in the first place. If another people un-subcribe, I'm sure they will notice the problem and make changes accordingly. Unedited isnt only about the presales either.
