Finally Jewel's 0304 is out in the Philippine market. I bought one the day i called Warner Music Philippines, and found out that the album was released already. But i'm a little disapponted because it doesn't come with a free poster. I love Yes U Can, I guess it'll be a good single and would be a slap in Santana's face in case it becomes a hit. hehe ~~`boyCradle` Proud To Be A Pinoy!!! What song do you think Jewel should open with on her tour. I loved that she opened with I Won't Walk Away on the last tour. The way the band just walked out, started play and then she came out...it was incredible! But I'm sure she won't even play the song this time around, let alone open with it! I think it would be cool if she opened with 2 Become 1. Keep the lights on, but start to fade them as they start to play the song. The intro would be slightly longer, however. The stage would be back lit, then she would just emerage from the side, walk to the mic and start singing. I think that if she opens with another "slow" song, it keeps the audience in their seats. Start big and keep them going! + + + + + + + Jewel's new album 0304 in stores NOW!!!! + What I'm listening to: "2 Become 1" By Jewel "Tuesday Morning" By Michelle Branch "Why Can't I" By Liz Phair "Where Is the Love" By Black Eyed Peas ft. I will have to disagree with haunted being the first song... It is WAY to huge to be first.. I think it should maybe be the first one to start the second band portion... or even at the end right before WWSYS.. I HOPE she keeps that on the setlists:) I don't know what I would choose for her to open with.. I think that is a GREAT thing to talk about on this list though:) I like to hear what others think and see.... I will agree with the 2 become one.. THOUGH I have a different idea for it. It would be the intro but the lights would already be off... and then the lights flash and stuff (whatever they do at concerts, haha) and not have her walk to the mic but instead have her walk in right when she says "I watch you..." so she is holding the mic walking in to the first verse... that would be AWESOME, just a big jolt right at the begining of the concert:) PS. Is anyone going to open for jewel other than SSC? From: "Christa" Reply-To: babers9@excite.com To: jewel@smoe.org Subject: [EDA] open with?
