It's not available in stores here yet, but Milan (Steve's Australian promoter) says that it will be some time. Steve also has copies that he's selling at his shows, so if you're lucky enough to catch him on the road, you can pick one up from the man himself. And let's not forget the long-awaited new disc, due out (hopefully) August 26th. _______________________________________ "This hit me: It's more important to love than be loved. Just wanted to say hi to everyone that used to know me. If you didnt, allow me to introduce myself: I founded the Every Other Day Angels (EODA) list you may or may not have heard of back in early 1999 that had about 180 freedom fighting members. It was the first crusade against censorship and moderation on the EDA list. With the near impossibility to post any opinions at variance with the official or orthodox view of Jewel, a small group of us was driven underground. With our own website and eMail list called the EODAs, we became powerful and stronger with growing members. I built that old Big Bad Jewel Website that exposed Jewels naughty and sexy side that is now obvious these days. We knew back then that nothing was wrong in being saucy and sizzling and so we were dedicated to keeping Jewel real and it felt pretty damn good. We fought for freedom of speech, thought and choice about our views and conversations of Jewel. Yes, we were a rebellious bunch of angels that broke away from the then moderated EDA list. With list owner infiltrating and spying on our list then finally coming to realized that its not so bad- this infantry of secret angels. I like to think that our revolution lead to the eventual un-moderation of the EDA list and the end of strict censorship and more fredom that you enjoy today. Seeing this break through, it was time for me to move on and I bestowed ownership onward. I do believe the EODAs served their purpose and alas they have sealed off their existence by mishap. The list still exists today, but it is restricted, it is difficult to get in, and easy to get out. This has inevitably leaded to attrition and the future is no doubt extinction. Those that remain are all that will probably ever be. Admittedly, Im kind of missing all the Jewel shows and friendships that are inevitably developed. It is only because just recently my wife played an old Jewel song that really plucked at my heartstrings and started me yearning and remembering again. So it has brought me here temporarily to visit and if anyone still remembers me, I just wanted to say hello and say that those were fun days. Thanks for all your friendship. Well, Ill most likely just visit this list for a short time, as time is a major restrictor these days. I would love to hear from anyone. And i always get the 6 year olds callin in for Detroit Michigan, looking for Marshall Mathers, or Hollywood California looking for JaRule. They can never understand that they wont get a number. "but i KNOW her lives there!!! hes a singer.. do you know him? can't you call him for me and have him call me back?" blah, enough blabbin, i havent posted here in MONTHS.
