Same photo from the single, which is dissapointing just cause I'd love to see some of the other shots. No worse than Spirit or This Way.... but her covers have always been underwhelming. I was just hoping for something a little more... creative. If they wanted simple they should've just used a close-up of Jewel's face like Spirit... it's a little classier... I mean the design is SO simple that yes, it could've been done by any amateur having a go at Adobe Illustator. Maybe it'll look better on the actual CD.... we'll see. However, the Intuition video looks FANTASTIC. I can't wait to see the finished product... it seriously looks like probably Jewel's best video. Totally fun, a total piss-take (which I love) and Jewel's doing stuff she's NEVER done before... plus she looks sexy as hell! So, thumbs way up on the video and thumbs down on the cover, even though I don't think it's BAD (particularly compared to her previous covers)... Anyway, I've been thinking about it and have come to some conclusions. I believe they are using the same pic because the audience is kinda familiar with it and knows who she is already. But, if they don't recognise her, you still have a huge "JEWEL" going on, that could help. So basically, what I think they are trying to do is make people notice that THAT is indeed Jewel and not some new act. The blue background adds a lot, IMO. If it were grey, then it would have been more boring. But still, it could have been cooler. I hope they change the cover for the Intuition CD single, at least... I wasn't expecting the skirts to be THAT short. Haha. Well, Jewel is looking very sexy here. No doubt about that. It might not go across to well with conservative people though. The most important thing they have to do with the video is to make it really obvious that its a parody or joke, so that when people watch it they wont get the wrong idea or take it seriously. Thats definately the main thing. Its going to be verrrrry interesting to see whats going to happen in the future. And after this album, what change she will make and how she will come back to her acoustic side, that is if she really does intend to do an acoustic cd next. I feel all weird when I think about this upcoming album and what it will bring. Its a combination of nervousness and excitement. About the cover for 0304, when did it come out?
